A few tools for self-purification and self-formation.

                                                 (Episode 3)

Fear and hope:

Fear is the guardian of the heart and hope is the intercessor of the being. He who knows Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala fears Him and puts his hope in Him. These are the two wings of faith with which the true servant flies towards the satisfaction of Allah (SWT).

These are the two eyes of the intellect through which he sees the promise and threat of Allah (SWT); His fear is that Allah (SWT) will consider justice as a matter of justice by considering that threat very carefully. Hope brings the overflowing blessings of Allah (SWT) and gives life to the heart, at the same time fear kills the nafs.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

Believers have two kinds of fears: fear of what is gone and fear of what will come. "

In the death of the nafs lies the life for the heart - which brings firmness in time. He who worships Allah (swt) with a balance of fear and hope will not go astray and will get what he hopes for.

What will happen to a slave except fear when he does not know when his work will be closed, when he has no deeds to help him, no power to do anything and no place to escape? How can he fail to hope when he knows he is drowning despite his disability.

Among the mercy and blessings of Allah (swt) which cannot be counted or which cannot be numbered. The lover worships his Lord with hope, with the vision of a person who is awake thinking about his condition, and worships Jahid (who abstains) with fear.

Ways al-Qarni told Haram ibn Hayyan: "People work for hope, but you work out of fear." Haram said: "There are two kinds of fear: permanent and changeable. Persistent fear brings hope, and variable fear brings lasting fear. Similarly, there are two kinds of hope: secret and public.

Secret hope brings lasting fear that strengthens the bond of love; And the public hope meets expectations about his disability and flaws in what he has done in his lifetime.

Satisfaction:

Satisfaction is when a person is satisfied with what he loves and what he hates; It is a ray of light of knowledge.

Satisfied he has vanished in all his likes; He is the person with whom Allah (swt) is pleased. Satisfaction is a name that means slavery and can be described as the joy of the heart.

I heard my father, Muhammad al-Baqir, say: "Associating the heart with what is present is shirk, and associating it with what is not."

Kufr (disbelief): These two are the fans of the nature of not paying attention to words. I am amazed that he claims to be a slave of Allah (swt) and then argues about his rulings. Satisfied spiritual people (Arifin) are far from being like that. "
